What Are Verified Fishing Sessions?
A Verified Fishing Session (VFS) is a premium fishing outing where every catch passes through three layers of verification:
Cryptographic sealing. Your session data -- GPS coordinates, timestamps, device fingerprint -- is sealed on-chain the moment you start. No one can alter it after the fact. Not you, not us, not anyone.
AI species identification. When you submit a catch, computer vision analyzes your photos. Species match. Measurement clarity. Photo authenticity. Submission quality. The AI assigns a confidence score within seconds.
Captain review. Licensed fishing captains review flagged and borderline submissions. Human judgment fills the gaps that AI cannot. Captains confirm or dispute the automated analysis.
No single layer is foolproof. All three together make cheating extraordinarily difficult and trivially detectable.
What Is BAIT?
BAIT is the in-app currency that funds verification infrastructure. The conversion is permanent and simple:
1 BAIT = $1 USD = 1 Verified Fishing Hour
When you run a VFS, you spend 1 BAIT per hour, billed in 15-minute increments. A 90-minute session costs 1.50 BAIT. A 3-hour session costs 3 BAIT.
That dollar per hour funds the AI models, the captain reviewers, the blockchain proof layer, and the infrastructure that keeps every verified catch honest.
How to Get Started
