🚫 What Gets Rejected
Invalid Measurements
Submissions with unclear or inaccurate measurements on the bump board, or measurements that don't match the visual evidence.
Missing Verification Steps
Incomplete BHRV process - missing bump shot, hero shot, or release video required for verification.
Location Violations
Catches submitted outside the designated derby boundaries or during restricted time periods.
Species Misidentification
Incorrect species identification that doesn't match the visual evidence or derby requirements.
📋 Dispute Process
How to Report
Any angler can report a suspicious submission through the app. Navigate to the submission, tap the report button, and provide specific details about your concern.
Review Timeline
Reports are reviewed within 24-48 hours. Urgent disputes affecting leaderboard positions are prioritized. You'll receive a notification when the review is complete.
Evidence Requirements
When reporting, provide specific evidence: screenshots, timestamps, location discrepancies, or other relevant information. Vague reports without evidence may be dismissed.
⚠️ Consequences
Ranking Removals
Invalid submissions are removed from leaderboards immediately. Points and rankings are recalculated for all affected derbies.
Temporary Bans
First-time violations may result in a 7-30 day ban from submitting catches, depending on severity. You can still view derbies and interact with the community.
Permanent Bans
Repeated violations, intentional fraud, or severe infractions result in permanent account suspension. All submissions are removed and rankings reset.
Appeal Process
If you believe a decision was made in error, you can appeal within 7 days. Provide additional evidence or clarification. Appeals are reviewed by a senior moderator.

AI-powered verification scans every submission for measurement accuracy, location compliance, and BHRV completeness before approval.
Manual Review
DerbyFish Captains and moderators review flagged submissions and disputes, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of rules.
Community Reporting
Anglers can report suspicious activity. Verified reports help maintain integrity and ensure fair competition for everyone.
