Badges are awarded automatically when you meet their criteria, such as catching your first fish, winning a derby, or completing a FishDex tier. Each badge has a unique design and displays on your profile for other anglers to see. Some badges are rare and require significant dedication to earn. The badge system is powered by event-driven validators that continuously evaluate your eligibility as you use the app.
